Captains throughout our history in each grade

1stXI Captains

Leading the Dogs

Our first ever captain all the way back in the 1917/18 season was Pearce Massey. In his two seasons as skipper he guided the team to the ultimate success, taking out back to back Premierships.

Our most successful captain in the 1stXI is Wayne Walsh, who won 4 Premierships as skipper. All of which were in a row (95/96, 96/97, 97/98, 98/99)
